Matthew Lucas

Personal Trainer 

An athlete himself, Matthew is passionate about educating others to enhance well-being and improve personal fitness. His education and 12+ years of experience as a trainer and group fitness instructor allow him to effectively and safely train people of all ages and abilities. Matthew incorporates a variety of equipment into his workouts that employ functional, core and strength training. He has worked in many settings including the YMCA and Eden Prairie Community Center and now calls Balance his training home.

When he isn't keeping himself fit, you'll find him on the sideline of ANY sporting event, volunteering with the American Heart Association or supporting his alma mater, the University of St. Thomas. Matthew is NETA and CPR/First Aid certified.
